Cheryl Tamborello studied art under the direction of Charles Shorre at the University of Saint Thomas, the Art Institute of San Miguel De Allende in Mexico, and Houston Community College, where she earned a fashion design degree.
About her work, she says:
"Working in layers allows me to build up subtleties of color that psychologically affect the viewer. With this color, I hope to jostle the viewer's memory of a particular place, reminding them of a moment they may have had. I enjoy recreating the beauty and mood of my experiences, and I strive to capture a serene moment in each of my paintings."
Cheryl Tamborello's work has been shown at Gallery Soco since 2003, where she is a leader among the gallery's portfolio artists. Her paintings are in distinguished corporate and private collections.
