"Jars" was Lisa Fittipaldi's very first painting. In her words:

"Painted with a child's watercolor set on hot-press watercolor paper, 'Jars' was my angry, frustrated response to Al's challenge that I do something constructive in response to losing my vision. The simple act of painting 'Jars' was a turning point that eventually led to my career as an artist. In essence, it is the illusion of color as seen from the mind's eye."
